Doing More With Less Since 1972

Black and white of the beach snapped at Torrey Pines State Park in San Diego, California

Every wave leaves behind a beautiful pattern in the sand
And every wave destroys another beautiful pattern in the sand
I reckon that’s supposed to be some kind of metaphor.
Or maybe it just looks cool.

The best thing about this hike was that we never finished it. The kids got distracted at the creek and played there for a long time, and we had to go back before it got dark.

Finished my run, went outside to cool off and check out what I just ran back from. Uh, yeah…we get a nice sunset here just about every day.

Been playing with Snapseed a lot more lately. I used it ages ago, then sort of forgot about it. But the HDR Scape filter makes things almost unreal.
Still doesn’t do the Grand Canyon justice though.

Ever notice how cyclists (pure cyclists) will sometimes acknowledge you if you’re on a bike, even if it’s a tri/timetrial bike, but will never acknowledge you if you’re running?

Runners always give a nod or slight wave to one another at a minimum. Unless you’re in California.

Thanks to @PacePerMile for the reminder.
